Rev. Maureen Jeffries

Ordained Interfaith Minister

An ordained Interfaith Minister Rev. Jeffries attended The Seminary at Hashem’'s House. She also holds a BA in Literature and Communications from Pace University. Rev. Jeffries has been performing wedding ceremonies throughout the tri-state area since 2007 and leading meditation workshops for over a decade. Using her writing background, each ceremony is personalized for the couple, creating a one-of-a-kind event.

 

She has written and led hundreds of people in guided meditations, helping them relax, find their center and learn how meditation can be a powerful tool in combating stress in our hectic world.  Rev. Jeffries has lectured about Meditation to civic and social groups in New Jersey, including Interweave in Summit, NJ,  the Glen Rock Community School, Passaic Community College, the Fair Lawn Rotary Club, MOMs Clubs of New Jersey, West Side Presbyterian Church, and the North Arlington Women’s Club.

 

As a monthly contributor to About Our Children Maureen wrote about topics concerning modern parents. Her work has also appeared in 201 Bride, 201 Bride online, The Womans Day Special Interest Publications, This Week Publications,  The Jewish Standard, girlawhirl.com, and souldish.com and many others.
